In 2022, the Central Bank of DPR Korea issued a silver commemorative coin to mark the 90th Anniversary of Founding of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army.
Carved on the central front of the coin is the images of army with the flag of the Anti-Japanese People’s Guerrilla Army and the national flag of the DPRK. On the upper part of the front are letters reading “Founding of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army” (조선인민혁명군으로 창건) and on its lower part are letters reading “90th Anniversary” (90돐) and “1932-2022”.
On the central back of the coin is the national emblem of the DPRK. Seen in the upper part of the back are the letters “The Central Bank of the DPRK” (조선민주주의인민공화국중앙은행) and in its lower part are the degree of purity, weight, minting year and face value.
The face value of the silver coin is 20 won.
The silver coin contains 31g of 999 silver.
Its mintage is 90 pieces.
