

In 2018, the Central Bank of DPR Korea issued a silver commemorative coin for the Meaningful Meetings between the Top Leaders of China and DPRK.
Carved on the central front of the coin are the images of Tiananmen (Beijing) and the Grand People’s Study House (Pyongyang) being connected by a rainbow and six doves between two buildings representing Friendship. On the rainbow, there are Chinese letters reading “Beijing Informal Visit 2018.3.25 – 3.28” (北京市非正式访问 2018.3.25 – 3.28) and “Dalian Visit 2018.5.7 – 5.8” (大连市访问 2018.5.7 – 5.8). On the upper part of the front are Chinese letters reading “Meaningful Meetings between the Top Leaders of Two Countries” (两国最高首脑意味深长的会面) and on its lower part are letters reading “Juche 107 (2018)” (주체 107 (2018)) and images of stars.
On the central back of the coin is the national emblem of the DPRK. Seen in the upper part of the back are the letters “The Central Bank of the DPRK” (조선민주주의인민공화국중앙은행) and in its lower part are the degree of purity, weight, face value and minting year.
The face value of the silver coin is 20 won.
The size of the silver coin is 40 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness.
The silver coin contains 31g of 999 silver.
Its mintage is 600 pieces.
