In 2016, the Central Bank of DPR Korea issued a silver commemorative coin to mark the 90th Anniversary of the Formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.
Carved on the central front of the coin is the image of the Flag of the Down-with-Imperialism Union ㅌ.ㄷ on Mt. Paektu. On the upper part of the front are letters reading “The Workers’ Party of Korea Is the Party of the Great Comrade Kim Il Sung – Kim Jong Il” (조선로동당은 위대한 김일성–김정일동지의 당이다) and on its lower part are letters reading “90th Anniversary” (90돐) and “1926-2016”.
On the central back of the coin is the national emblem of the DPRK. Seen in the upper part of the back are the letters “The Central Bank of the DPRK” (조선민주주의인민공화국중앙은행) and in its lower part are the degree of purity, weight, minting year and face value.
The face value of the silver coin is 100 won.
The silver coin contains 2oz of 999 silver.
